For my exhibition piece for Unity I am going to utilise this first aid box.
My piece will provide individuals with immediate sources of inspiration, which they may use to trigger their own creative actions and establish connections with each other. Placing such objects in a first aid box also gives them immediate context – symbolising the therapeutic properties of art and suggesting that art can position itself as a healing, bonding force in turbulent times.

Mr Clean 50ml EDT
The buttress root, an organic support structure, is appropriated here to harness and contain the positive virtues of mental clarity. This is a fragrance that gives you the tools you need to grow.
A potion concocted of positive mentality, here we allow lemon and basil to offer mental clarity with peppermint providing medicinal qualities. Mental balance is provided by geranium and palmarosa and, as a foundation, patchouil and cedarwood read like a health tonic, providing support to the virtues of mental clarity.
This fragrance was created by interpreting and investigating a response to the question ‘Why do you make art?’ If you are an artist (in the broadest sense of the word) I would love to her your response to the question too, as it will enable me to create a perfume portrait that captures the essence of your creative persona.
This perfume will be on display at Bank Street Arts, Sheffield, from 2-18th March 2016. There will be a Private View on the 2nd March from 6-8pm. More details here
