Preparing for Perfume as Practice

6 perfumes made, 8 to go! I’m almost halfway through preparations for my latest Perfume as Practice exhibition, which begins on Wednesday 30th November at Bank Street Arts, Sheffield. Intuitively, I sense that the perfumes I have made feel more refined and coherent than previous perfumes. And the fact that the perfumes are assigned to a fragrance family adds an insightful dimension to proceedings. Each perfume portrait, while different, possesses a commonality with other portraits by virtue of sharing a woody fragrance.

The open evening of Perfume as Practice AW16 is on Saturday 3rd December from 6pm at Bank Street Arts, Sheffield. I hope you can join me for chat, drinks, my artist talk and a highly scented atmosphere!
